DESCRIPTION:
Another kampong-style on Salang beach. It is located to the left of the main jetty in Salang. Walking time from the jetty will take about 5-10 minutes to this resort. You will pass by Salang Indah Resort and Dive Asia before you get here.
FACILITIES:
There are 58 rooms here. Most are basic ones with attached bathrooms with no hot shower (I don't think you need it anyway). There are about 20 units of air-conditioned room that can fit in twin-sharing pax, while another 20 air-conditioned units can fit in up to 4 persons.
To satisfy your gastronomic need, there is a rather excellent Chinese restaurant at this resort. You can opt to sit at the benches by the beach for a nice dinner time watching the ocean.
ATTRACTIONS:
The beach fronting this resort is not suitable for swimming. One better off going to Salang beach on the southern section of the village.
This resort is close Dive Asia, where you can organise some decent diving trips. From Salang, I've dived at Pulau Chebeh, Malang Rock, Salang Wreck (directly facing the resort by shore dive) as well as Salang Reef North. For snorkeling, walk to the southern section of the village at the sandy beach of Salang where some decent marine life could be found.
PRICING:
For room-only, the fan room starts at RM80, while the air-conditioned one starts at RM110 per night. The resort also offers 3D/2N package inclusive of daily meals, round-trip boat to/from Mersing, half-day sightseeing tour, etc. For this full board package, it will cost RM230 per pax on twin-sharing basis for fan-only room, while for air-conditioned room, it will cost RM260 per pax twin-sharing.
