DESCRIPTION:
The resort is located on Pasir Panjang Besar, sandwiched by Redang Beach Resort and Redang Bay Resort. Journey from the dedicated jetty at Merang to the resort will take about 45 minutes.

Commanding the best view of both beaches of Pasir Panjang (the resort is facing the rocky cape of Tanjung Tengah which separate these two beaches), the resort adopts a traditional Malay kampong architecture. The buildings are made of local timbers with connecting walkways that connect from each chalet to another. Nonetheless, the resort is noticeably run down compared to its neighbouring resorts that have the financial muscle for regular upgrades and general maintenance.

FACILITIES:
There are about 30 rooms available at this resort - 24 air-conditioned chalets and 6 fan chalets. The rooms are extremely basic and no-frill. I guess you get what you paid for. There is a small restaurant that catered for full-boarding patrons.

ATTRACTIONS:
The resort is fronting the beautiful beach of Pasir Panjang Besar as well as Pasir Panjang Kecil which is equally mesmerizing, if not more spectacular when it comes to scenic beach views and powdery soft sands.

A boat trip can also be arranged to visit the Marine Park Jetty at Pulau Pinang, where good snorkeling can be done, or Pasir Kalong Beach for a relaxing time under the tropical sun.

There are plenty of snorkeling options near the resort too. You can try snorkeling at Tanjung Tengah, which separates Pasir Panjang Kecil with Pasir Panjang Besar, or at Tanjung Mak Cantik fronting Redang Reef Resort. A decent snorkeling trip can also be arranged to either Pulau Paku Besar or Paku Kecil by boat.

PRICING:
A regular 3D2N package will cost about RM300 per person (twin-, triple- and quad-sharing basis) on weekdays. A surcharge of RM30 per person is imposed during public holidays. The package includes return boat transfer from Merang Jetty to Redang, daily meals including BBQ dinner on one of the nights, lodging and snorkeling trips. The resort also offers 2D1N package that costs RM200 per person.

Boat departs from Merang Jetty at around 0930hrs.
