DESCRIPTION: A very basic resort right in the middle of Teluk Dalam beach. It can best be described as a budget type of accommodation for those seeking basic amenities By that, I mean there is no air-conditioner whatsoever.
FACILITIES: The resort offers only 3 types of unit, all with fans only. There are a number of Bungalow units, Standard chalets and A-frame huts. Fronting are two great beach-side cafés that I managed to try - the in-house restaurant catering mostly for the resort's patrons, and Awie's beach bar that offers great food at great price and soothing ocean view.
The resort is adjoined by Alu Alu Divers (dive centre).
ATTRACTIONS: Fronting the resort is the beach of Teluk Dalam. To me, the beach is not particularly nice as compared to the beach on Teluk Pauh. Nonetheless, the beach is extremely long with most parts are covered with soft powdery sands (but some parts are just rocky with coral debris). You can also snorkel at this beach, though my snorkeling excursion wasn't of anything worth mentioning.
As for diving, many dive boats will depart to Tokong Laut (or Temple Sea Mount) early in the morning. There are other dive sites close to Teluk Dalam, such as Shark's Point and Terumbu Tiga (Tiger Rocks).
PRICING: A night stay at the Bungalow unit will cost RM50, Standard chalet (RM40 per night), and A-frame hut (RM30 per night). MY RATING: |
