DESCRIPTION: A very basic resort on the western end of Teluk Dalam beach. Everfresh Beach Resort can best be described as a budget type of accommodation for those seeking simplicity in life. By that, I mean there is no air-conditioner whatsoever. Luckily there is attached bathroom for every room. Some units are conveniently fronting the beach, while most of others are somewhat deep into the secondary forest.
FACILITIES: The resort offers only 3 types of unit, all equipped with fans only. There are Family chalets, Standard chalets and A-frame chalets. There is one small restaurant catered mostly for in-house guests. Right next to it is a dive centre called Steven's Sea Sport.
ATTRACTIONS: Fronting the resort is the beach of Teluk Dalam. To me, the beach is not particularly nice as compared to the beach on Teluk Pauh. Nonetheless, the beach is extremely long with most parts are covered with soft powdery sands (but some parts are just rocky with coral debris). You can also snorkel at this beach, though my snorkeling excursion wasn't of anything worth mentioning.
As for diving, many dive boats will depart to Tokong Laut (or Temple Sea Mount) early in the morning. There are other dive sites close to Teluk Dalam, such as Shark's Point and Terumbu Tiga (Tiger Rocks). Steven's Sea Sport dive centre adjacent to the resort can take care of all your diving needs.
PRICING: A night stay at Family chalet will cost RM60, Standard chalet (RM40 per night), and A-frame chalet (RM20 per night). MY RATING: |
